The project connects secondary school and university students and teachers from the Visegrad Group (Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) to promote intercultural collaboration, creativity, and student wellbeing.
Through creative workshops, collaborative writing, and a Reading Circle, participants can share ideas, co-create stories, and build meaningful cross-border connections.
Students across the V4 region often lack opportunities for creative expression and intercultural dialogue within formal education. This project addresses these gaps by creating space for student voice, creativity, and collaboration, which are essential for motivation, wellbeing, and personal development.
The project combines:
- creative writing and wellbeing
- collaboration across secondary and tertiary education
- long-term impact through the EnJoY online journal
This journal showcases student work and provides a lasting platform for creative expression and intercultural exchange.
Project´s Impact
Participants will develop:
- language and communication skills
- creativity and confidence
- intercultural awareness and empathy
At the same time, the project strengthens cooperation between schools and universities, contributing to a more connected and inclusive V4 region.
Sustainability
Activities and outputs will be primarily digital, reducing environmental impact while ensuring long-term accessibility and continued collaboration.

Project partners:
The Department of English Language and Culture at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra has extensive experience in promoting intercultural communication, creative learning and wellbeing. It regularly implements language development projects, student workshops, and research initiatives focused on innovative teaching methodologies, including creative writing, literature, and intercultural competence. In the recent years, the Department has successfully organized the annual Diversity conference, writing competitions – Short Story Competition 2024, creative workshops for students – The art of Words and Ink Outside the box and the members of the Department participated in E-Twinning virtual exchange projects: Beyond Borders: Virtual Collaboration of Future Teachers of English and Virtual Exchange Project: English Language Education in Slovakia and Germany. The Department collaborates with secondary and elementary schools in Slovakia and partner institutions across Europe.

The Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University aims to provide high quality, liberal education for future teachers of English in an inspiring, challenging, and productive environment. Emphasis is equally placed on the development of professional competencies and appropriate subject and pedagogical content knowledge; the ability to apply them in diverse settings; and the adoption of values essential in forming an active, responsible, and independent member of the community.

Faculty of Modern Languages and Literature, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań
Faculty of Modern Languages and Literature is an integral part of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań as an education and training institution. The Faculty of Modern Languages and Literature currently employs 420 highly educated university teachers and researchers, many of them experts in the field of languages. The mission of the faculty is to provide highly trained and critically oriented intellectuals in the fields of the humanities and social sciences as well as teachers in these two areas. With specific reference to linguistics, parts of the FA are the Institute of German Studies, the Institute of Romance Studies, the Institute of Russian Studies, the Institute of Linguistics, the Institute of Applied Linguistics, the Department of Asian Studies, the Department of Oriental Studies, the Department of Scandinavian Studies and the Department of Eco-communication.
The Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures owes its prestige to a high level of scholarship, the amount and quality of published research, educational experience and intensive cooperation with academic institutions in Poland as well as abroad. The hallmark of the Faculty is diversity in research, encompassing areas that can be regarded as pioneering or unique. These include rarely studied languages and literary traditions, various subfields of applied linguistics and interdisciplinary studies, such as translation and interpreting, forensic linguistics and cross-cultural communication.
Department of Modern Languages and Cultures, Faculty of Education, University of Szeged
Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the Faculty of Education of the University of Szeged focuses on different aspects of teacher training, including English in the kindergarden, English in the lower primary classroom, and CLIL teacher training. In addition, the department offers the MA program ‘Instruction of English as a Foreign Language’.
The department research group carries out research on different aspects of CLIL and bilingualism.
